The MacTaggart Bros haulage firm was established in 1971 by brothers Billy and Andrew MacTaggart, to offer specialist livestock transportation services. Nowadays, the company also offers general haulage services.
MacTaggart Bros run a modern fleet of tractor units, livestock rigids, livestock trailers and curtainsider trailers. We operate throughout the UK and provide a competitive and reliable service with regular runs to Yorkshire, Somerset, Devon and Wales.
MacTaggart Bros are based in Castle Douglas, south-west Scotland, close to the A75 EuroRoute to Ireland and an hour from the M6 and M74 motorways.
Our distinctive red and blue lorries are regularly seen at livestock markets throughout Scotland and the North of England.
